It mainly tells about the third brother, a man who takes his father's job as a mortician who is prejudiced by the secular world. Because he does so reluctantly, he can neither find the value of his job nor live happily. Especially in the face of unwarranted suspicions from customers, he immediately came up with the idea of abandoning his job, and even blamed his life's disappointments on this career that he did not look up to. Just when he was about to change his life style, he took in Xiaowen who was homeless because of his grandmother's death by mistake. Under the influence of Xiaowen and his father's inspiration, he finally started a new life in the funeral industry.
The third brother chose to take Xiaowen in the face of the paste like life. After Xiaowen was rejected by relatives, he did not hesitate to adopt Xiaowen. The relationship between the two people went from the original "enemy" to the inseparable father and daughter. Many people laughed and many cried. He taught us that even if we have nothing, we can warm the world with a personal act of kindness. For the world, a kindness may have little power, but for Xiaowen, it changed her life.
