Products Description

Product Characteristics

The condensed water and oil mixture collected at the bottom of the separator is automatically discharged from the cold dryer through an electronic drain valve or a float‑operated drain valve. The drain valve opens periodically or according to the liquid level to expel accumulated condensate without losing excessive compressed air. Electronic drains are equipped with timing controls or level sensors to ensure reliable operation and avoid air leakage. If the drain valve malfunctions, condensate will accumulate and be re‑entrained into the air stream, resulting in wet air output. Regular inspection of the drain assembly is necessary to prevent clogging caused by dirt or oil sludge. This process ensures continuous removal of moisture and maintains the long‑term effectiveness of the drying system.

Working Principle

The amount of water vapor in the compressed air is determined by the temperature of the compressed air: under the condition that the pressure of the compressed air is basically unchanged, reducing the temperature of the compressed air can reduce the content of water vapor in the compressed air, and the excess water vapor will condense into liquid.

Our Service

We provide professional user operation training and skill improvement service to help users master correct usage and daily management of filters. The training includes basic structure, working principle, standard operation process, daily inspection items, simple fault judgment, and safe handling methods. Through on-site demonstration, graphic explanation, and interactive Q&A, users can accurately understand key points to avoid misoperation. Training also covers maintenance tips, such as correct cleaning, reasonable storage of spare parts, and identification of abnormal working status. Improving users' operational skills reduces failure rate caused by human factors and improves the stability and safety of the entire filtration system.

FAQ

1. Q: When does the fan start?
A: Starts at set condensing temperature; standard on air-cooled models.

2. Q: What to do if outlet dew point is high?
A: Check inlet temp/pressure, refrigerant charge, fouled heat exchanger, drainage failure.

3. Q: Standard rated dew point?
A: Normally 2–10°C (pressure dew point).

4. Q: Common causes of moisture at the air end?
A: Drain failure, overload, high inlet temperature, insufficient refrigerant.

5. Q: Does evaporator frosting affect dew point?
A: Yes, frosting reduces heat exchange and raises dew point.

6. Q: How to handle water in filters?
A: Clean filters, repair drains, check dryer load.
